Product Description
High-performance hollow glass bead is a kind of ultra-lightweight inorganic non-metallic material (powder) with hollow structure(microsphere), and it is a versatile and high-performance new lightweight material developed in recent years. Its true density is 0.20-0.60g/cm3 with 2-120μm in diameter. It owns features of light weight, large bulky, low thermal conductivity, high compressive strength, smoothly mobility etc.
It also takes compressed air as the momentum and uses glass bead as the medium, through high-speed and high-pressure jetting on the surface of workspace. Products after shot blasting can eliminate the tensile stress, lengthen the fatigue life, and improve its capacity for anti-stress corrosion.
Glass sphere can be used in painting and coatings, rubber, plastics, glass, steel, artificial stone, putty and other products as filler and weight-reducing agent.
Because of its high compressive properties, it can be used to produce high-strength low-density cement slurry and low-density drilling fluid in oil and gas extraction industry.
It can improve the road marking line contrary reflection function. When driving at night, the lamp shines on the marking line with glass bead in it, the ray of lamp is reflected back parallely. So the driver can look at the road clearly and drive safely at night.
