Product Description
Iron oxide pigments are coloring materials primarily composed of iron oxides. These pigments are widely used across multiple industries due to their exceptional properties. They come in various types, including iron oxide red, yellow, black, and brown.
Physically, iron oxide pigments possess good dispersibility, excellent light and weather resistance, and are non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless. They have high purity and uniform particle size, offering a wide range of colors. Chemically, they are resistant to weak acids and diluted acids but can gradually dissolve in strong acids. They are highly stable to alkalis of any concentration and other alkaline substances, particularly stable to commonly used cement and lime mortar in construction, without causing chalking or affecting strength. They are also insoluble in water, mineral oils, vegetable oils, ethers, esters, ketones, and other organic solvents.
