High-performance LECA/ceramsite (high-strength ceramsite) refers to calcined or non-burning ceramsite with high strength, low water
absorption and low density. Can be used to formulate high performance concrete. It is generally called high-performance light
aggregate in foreign countries, and it can also be called high-strength ceramsite in China

High strength ceramsite features:

high strength, moderate density, high porosity, high softening coefficient, good freezing resistance, excellent alkali resistance
and so on.

USES of LECA:

1. Building use: preparation of ceramsite concrete.Toilet backfill, garage roof, floor pad higher.
2. Landscaping: water, breathable, dust-free, lightweight, meet all the needs of landscaping.
3. Industrial filtration materials.Filter out harmful substances from industry.

4. Excellent fire resistance: for the same fire resistance period, the thickness of the plate of ceramsite concrete is 20% thinner
than that of ordinary concrete.Under the high temperature of 650 ºC, 85% of the ceramsite concrete can maintain normal temperature
strength.However, ordinary concrete can only maintain 35%~75% of its strength at room temperature.
5. Good seismic performance: ceramsite concrete has good seismic performance due to its light weight, low elastic modulus and good
deformation resistance.
6. Low water absorption, good frost resistance and durability, and better acid and alkali corrosion resistance and frost
resistance of ceramsite concrete than ordinary concrete.
7. Ceramsite concrete is superior to ordinary concrete in corrosion resistance (acid and alkali).And has excellent alkali -
resistant aggregate reaction ability.
