It is a kind of water bearing clay ore mainly composed of montmorillonite, because of its special properties, Such as : swelling, cohesiveness, adsorption, catalysis, thixotropy, suspension, cation exchange, etc.When the interlayer cation is Na +, it is called sodium bentonite; When the interlayer cation is Ca2 +, it is called calcium bentonite.
Calcium Bentonite is white or gray white powder , insoluble in water, oil and organic solvent. It has strong adsorption capacity. It is non toxic, good thermal stability, fast filtering speed, low oil rate.
Activated Bleaching Earth is used to decolorize purification in the field of animal and vegetable oil refining. Activated Bleaching Earth can take off the harmful pigments, phospholipids, cotton, acid, and so on in oil to make high-grade edible oil.
