Aluminium silicate powder has its origin deeply rooted in natural minerals and industrial processes.
In nature,over long geological time - scales, chemical reactions in the Earth's crust break down the original rock structures. Silicon oxygen tetrahedra and aluminium - oxygen polyhedra recombine, resulting in the formation of kaolinite and other aluminium - silicate minerals. These natural minerals can be mined and processed to obtain aluminium silicate powder. The mining process involves extracting the ore from deposits, followed by crushing, grinding, and beneficiation techniques to separate and purify the aluminium  silicate  bearing components.
Industrially, aluminium silicate powder can also be synthesized. One common method is through chemical reactions. For instance, aluminium salts (like aluminium sulfate) and silicate sources (such as sodium silicate) can be mixed in an aqueous solution under specific pH and temperature conditions. A precipitation reaction occurs, where aluminium and silicate ions combine to form amorphous or crystalline aluminium silicate precipitates. After filtration, washing, and drying, aluminium silicate powder is obtained. This synthetic approach allows for precise control over the powder's composition, particle size, and other properties, meeting the diverse requirements of various industries.
